Presenting my textile craftwork:the materials used for"mai " are woven products and recycled ones.

Presentation

 

Scarves: Kerchieves and shawls knitted on handloom by using kind rawmaterials such as wool, cotton, recycled cloth

Berets: Crochet knitted with pure sheep wool, it comes mixed up with other materials so it brings out the colours of fancy. Also sewed with recycled cloth.

T-shirts “lolas”: their dresses have been knitted on a separated frame using recycled cloth then hand sewed onto the dress and finally hand painted. they are all diferent pieces of work, unique unto itself.

“Txikos and Txikas”: they have been manufactured trought the same process as “lolas”

“Latxa”: sheep (basque native sheep). Its body has been knitted with sheep wool, handspinning and felted in order to avoid shrinkage.

“Belar meta”: (pile of grass or haystack). An image which has pretty well disappeared from sight in our landscape and basque work fields.

“Zirimiri”

“Toldos de playa”: Typical canvas sheds used as cloakrooms or for providing shade. They can be seen on most of our coast beaches

Baby duvets: Filled with pure carded sheep wool together with recycled cotton cloth.
